Yan ChenProfessor

Yan Chen is currently a professor at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She received her Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering from California Institute of Technology in 2008, and she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University from 2009 to 2010. Her research interests are microfluidics for biomedical applications and advanced nanofabrication technologies. She has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles in Lab on a Chip, ASC Nano, Biosensors & bioelectronics, etc. In recent years, she focused her scientific interests in liquid biopsy, ongoing projects involve the development of innovative microfluidic systems for high throughput isolation and analysis of liquid biopsy biomarkers.
